Good morning from Kobe, Japan! Last two shows today at Sogo department store (12:30pm & 2pm), then off to the airport! Stopping over in Honolulu for a couple of hours, then rounding up with the next gang in San Francisco!

Later that night, I had a rehearsal with two hālau I'll be playing for today at the 11th Annual Hula Ho‘olauna Aloha. I didn't get a chance to take a picture with the first group yet, but I did get a chance to take a picture with the second. This is Kumu Hula Frank Hewett, sitting in the center, and his student and student's hālau from Kamakura, Japan.

第11回フラ・ホオラウナ・アロハ2012に出場予定のハラウ2組とリハーサルを行ってきました。残念ながら1組目のハラウと写真を撮るチャンスがなかったけれど、2組目のハラウとは写真を撮ることができました。クムフラフランクヒュイットと生徒さんとそのハラウです。

Saturday, I did a performance with Kumu Hula Meleana Manuel and her ladies of Ke ‘Olu Makani O Mauna Loa at the Ala Moana centerstage for the exhibition of the 11th Annual Hula Ho‘olauna Aloha. This gang is so much fun!!! Mahalo nui!

土曜日、アラモアナショッピングセンター、センターステージで行われた第11回フラ・ホオラウナ・アロハ2012のエキシビションでクムフラMeleanaManuelとそのハラウKe‘Olu Makani O Mauna Loaのダンサー達とパフォーマンスをしてきました。大変盛り上がりましたよ！マハロヌイ！
